Mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease (Oral-1)
The Butler Hospital Memory & Aging Program is conducting a clinical research study of an orally-administered, investigational drug called scyllo-inositol(Oral-1). This study tests whether the investigational drug Oral-1 safely provides clinical benefit to people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD).
Qualified participants must be:
- from 50 to 85 years of age
- diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
- not taking Coumadin®
- accompanied by a regular caregiver to 16 study visits over a 1.5-year period
