Mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease (Oral-2)
The Butler Hospital Memory & Aging Program is conducting a clinical research study of an orally-administered, investigational drug Oral-2 which inhibits the Receptor for Advanced Glycation Endproducts. This study tests whether the investigational drug Oral-2 safely provides clinical benefit to people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD).
Qualified participants must be:
- at least 50 years of age
- diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
- not diagnosed with diabetes
- accompanied by a regular caregiver to 11 study visits over a 1.5-year period
