Mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease (SC-1)

The Butler Hospital Memory & Aging Program is conducting a clinical research study of an subcutaneously-administered, investigational drug called bapineuzumab (SC-1).  This study tests whether the investigational drug SC-1 safely provides clinical benefit to people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Qualified participants must be:

•  from 50 to 89 years of age
•  diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
•  not taking Coumadin®
•  accompanied by a regular caregiver to 15 office visits, plus weekly injections at home over a 1-year period
